OPHELIA

by John Everett Millais

Pulled from a scene from Shakespeare's play, Ophelia is shown in a riverbank, moments away from drowning. It is said that she was in distress after just finding out that her father was murdered by her lover, Hamlet. Moments before falling into the bank, she was collecting wildflowers.

This collection is inspired by John Everett Millais’ painting titled, Ophelia (as pictured). In here you will find ethereal, almost ghostly pieces within the long silhouettes, wildflower motif, an emphasis on gold, and a shrubbery story found throughout all the goods.
